Hi Jordan,
I work for Lincoln Center - specifically for the Jazz Arts group that is led by Wynton Marsalis. Happened to be at Fela on Saturday afternoon with a friend second row and was curious if you would be interested in discussing some opportunities we have both to play and mentor at our organization. Enjoyed the show and hope to speak soon!

Oh My Lord. I just saw Fela! last night. It is by far the greatest show I have ever seen anywhere on this Earth. It is the "Hair" of this century. I have never been so moved before. Jordan stole the show all the way from upstage with the band. He has infectious energy. He made the show for me. Thanks to Mr. McLean for putting so much love and energy into the show. He is the most genuinely happy person I've ever seen to play music. Amen. Please keep it coming and keep Fela! on b way. I think I have to see the show again. Tomorrow.

Jordan,
I got a chance to see you (and briefly speak with you) at the Antibalas show at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh. There are so many things I could try to express about what a spiritual experience it was for me, but I cant seem to do it. Aldous Huxley wrote "After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible, is music." Antibalas left me speechless, and the only thing that I wanted when it was over, was more. I never have danced like that night, before or since. I thank you dearly for that show.

Jordan - just wanted to say hello and tell you how much I have been turned on to Antibalas in the last year. I saw you for the first time last summer in Toronto and was blown away! Your stage presence has really stuck out in my mind - what a great set! In any case I look forward to checking out your other projects and mp3's on your site. Do you know when Antibalas will be coming back to Ontario or British Columbia? Thanks in advance and keep playing that music! :)

Dear Jordan, loved to hear and see you performing with Antibalas at Jazzfest Wiesen on July 21, on this hot summer evening in Austria. You look like my husband Robert did 20 years ago...
Your FOS project sounds very interesting, heard Handbasket 07:37 min., love it! When will you come to Austria again with FOS?
I also admire work of Ligeti. And the book "Träumen Sie in Farbe" (which is "Do you dream in colours?") based on interview sessions with G. Ligeti from 2003. Unfortunately it is published in German only. Do you know Ligeti's "African Rhythms" CD? And do you already know Roedelius, a composer living in Austria (not too far away from Vienna), a living legend, look at http://www.roedelius.com
and there is a festival every year in summer, Austria, Lunz am See, it is

If you are interested in contemporary music, have a look -
and here is an example of Roedelius work, please listen:
http://www.super16.co.uk/Roedelius/songRegenmacher.html
I would like to send some pictures to you, from Wiesen Jazzfest, Antibalas on stage. If you like, send me your email address pls. Thank you for composing and performing on such a high level and thank you for combining music with political message, this is so important! Love and Peace
Maria, Wels/Austria

great site! just want to let all know that there will be a party proceeding and following the antibalas concert this weekend a stones throw from the show. all are welcome to come and enjoy the beutiful delaware county country side at a straw-bale house built by some local enviromental builders. theres a pond, food, places to sleep under the stars(or bring your own tent) and if the spirits are willing a large burning wooden dog (the upstate NY version of "burning man"). rides will be available to Poughkeepsie sunday morning where the subway runs down to the city. so come one come all.
